Don’t Forget the Dew Claws!
September 17th, 2007Pet parents, come on! Let’s start assessing our pooch’s nails…front and back paws and dew claws. Dogs need their nails done often or the vein & the nerve will grow the length of the nails…and then the pooch will have a very painful situation going on when someone does try to clip the nails back. The dew claw which can be found (sometimes) on the inner and upper portion of each leg and can grow into a complete circle embedding itself into the pad (the fleshy and soft part of the toe). Owwww!
