A 2007 Thanksgiving Reflection of Good Things at Petite Pooch
My family and I have a tradition…before we dig into the Thanksgiving feast in front of us, one of us makes a little speech/prayer then we go around the table and each person tells the rest of us what they are thankful for. I would like to do that now…I’m thankful for:
- my huband, my parents, my in-laws, my brothers, and my 7 dogs;
- the wonderful people I work with;
- the customers/pooches who come to Petite Pooch Chateau & Petite Pooch Plus;
- the students/graduates who come to/graduate from Petite Pooch Chateau Dog Grooming Academy;
- my health, the roof over my head, the comfortable life that is mine;
- my incredible career as a nurse, a corporate director, and as an entrepeneur;
- my landlords who allow me the opportunity to conduct business in stress-free environments;
- the troops who keep us safe and their families who who make the ultimate sacrifice.
Petite Pooch Chateau, Inc. has been my passion, my problem, my challenge, my livelyhood. It’s been difficult, wonderful, frustrating, and rewarding. This Thanksgiving Season, I’m thankful for the continued opportunity to contribute to society via the Petite Pooch Companies by providing jobs, commerce, being a springboard for other grooming/boarding businesses, providing a good/quality service, providing educational/training opportunities, and hopefully making this world a little better place for our furry friends.
I would like to urge each of you to look at your life very carefully and count the many blessings you may not even be aware of. It’s a great time to reflect and be happy!
