There’s a popular song called How to Save a Life…it’s sad and full of regrets but it carries a powerful message. The song writer offers some advice to people who find themselves in a situation like his with a dear friend’s life at stake.
Each day I get emails and links like this one. I have saved a life 7 times and have 7 dogs to prove it…can I do it again? Yes, I’ve done it 4 more times at Petite Pooch Plus where we have had (and have) shop dogs. I didn’t do it one time, because I didn’t think I could take on another dog…the lady promptly put the dog down because I was taking to long to “think about it” and the dog was elderly and pottying on her floor at home…I’ve always regretted that. The dog’s name was “Cheyenne” and I wish I would have just taken her and let her live out the rest of her short life at Petite Pooch Plus. So, how can you save a life?
